MPM is putting physicians back in control of their practices. By holding our membership qualifications to stringent standards, we are able to offer physicians outstanding insurance options backed by the most financially secure medical professional liability providers in Missouri. 75 percent of our members are rated in the low-risk categories of Class 3 or below, and no category above Class 2 represents greater than 7 percent of our total risk pool.

We work to improve our products and offerings specifically by listening to our member physicians input through our physician advisory board. By providing custom-designed solutions to member physicians, we are seeing the results that outstanding protection can provide. For instance, since MPMs formation in early 2003, 82 percent of the total claims closed have been resolved with no indemnity payments. These results are far superior to averages reported by other Missouri insurers, as witnessed by reports from the Department of Insurance. This is further proof that MPM membership truly does have it’s privileges and our physician members reap the rewards of this relationship every day.
